Proportional estimates for vegetative cover types: woody vegetation, herbaceous vegetation, and bare ground. derived from all seven bands of the MODerate-resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) sensor. Spatial resolution of 250m. Used by Luke to develop the automated Satellite and Landuse regression models. Access at http://www.landcover.org/data/vcf/ (URL removed - access on 2023-11-28).
