| Abstract |
Hourly CTM data for various surface pollutants in 2018 with a resolution of 1 degree. Species include SO2, NH3, HNO3, NO2, NO, SO4, NO3, NH4, components of sea salt, dust (road, Sahara, windblown), O3, and PM. This global run includes fire emissions based on 2018 meteorology and 2010 Task Force on Hemispheric Transport of Air Pollution (TFHFAP) emissions, with models EMEP4UK rv4.36 driven by WRF meteorology model v4.2.2, Further information about the variables can be found in the accompanying variables.docx file in the metadata folder. |
| Study Extent | Hourly resolution for 2018. 0.1 degree resolution, global. |

| Abstract |
This is the daily global surface data from our EMEP-WRF run for 2019 and 2020. Massimo Vieno sent 4 daily files for each year (total 8). The “BASE” run has the emissions anthropogenic (htapv2 2010) and from the modelled year for biomass burning included, and “NOFFIRE” where the model has switched off the biomass burning. The global (GLOBAL) domain is given at 1° resolution. The NSW domain is produced at 0.11° resolution and covers |
| Study Extent | Daily estimates across two domains - Global at 1°, NSW at 0.1° resolution. |

| Abstract |
Modelled daily surface ozone, PM2.5 and PM10 for southeast Asia at 0.1° resolution using the EMEP4UK model driven by the Weather and Research Forecast (WRF) meteorology model. Model versions used are EMEP4UK rv5.0 and WRF v4.4.2. Initial and boundary conditions were drawn from the fifth-generation European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) atmospheric reanalysis of the global climate (ERA5). Two scenarios were modelled: 1) baseline with wildfire emissions and 3) scenario with no wildfire emissions. Also catalogued in UK’s National Data Library at https://www.data.gov.uk/dataset/cd1f4924-92ab-4511-b57b-ad1add50f78a/. |
| Study Extent | Daily, 2019. 0.1 degrees resolution across Southeast Asia (from Myanmar in northwest to Papua New Guinea in southeast). |

| Abstract | A resource stemming from the research efforts of the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology (UKCEH). Rooted in the mission of understanding environmental dynamics and their profound impact on human and ecological well-being, this dataset captures critical daily global climate modeling data from the EMEPWRF model for the years 2019 to 2020. It serves as a foundational tool for assessing climate variability, predicting environmental changes, and informing strategies for resilience and sustainability. Comprising meticulously collected and modeled data, this dataset empowers interdisciplinary research, facilitates climate mitigation, and aids in building robust ecosystems for a harmonious coexistence of people and nature, in line with the UKCEH’s commitment to scientific integrity and transparency. |
