The Queensland Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages (RBDM) is the ACR for COD URF where data at the unit record level is required. The ACR coordinates the approval and release of COD URF files on behalf of the data custodians – Australian Registrars of Births, Deaths and Marriages (RBDM), State/Chief Coroners and the National Coronial Information System (NCIS). | | If aggregate or summary Cause of Death data is required, please contact one of our partner agencies: | | • Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) | The AIHW maintains the National Mortality Database (NMD) and the National Death Index (NDI). The NMD is used for statistical reporting on causes of death and the NDI enables data linkage activity for health and medical research relating to mortality.
