abstract |
Atmospheric monitoring data from the Sentinel-5P satellite carrying the TROPOMI (Tropospheric Monitoring Instrument), as part of the Copernicus missions. Geophysical products are derived from 4 multichannel spectrometers and cover O3, NO2, SO2, CO, CH4, and HCHO gases, as well as cloud fraction, albedo, top pressure, UV aerosol index, and aerosol layer height (mid-level pressure). Data is collected globally on a daily basis with a pixel resolution of 7km x 7km. The data is supplied in the European Space Agency (ESA)’s SENTINEL-SAFE format in zip archives whilst Sentinel-5P data is provided in NetCDF format. The files are organised in a simple directory structure, which divides the data files spatially and temporally. Each zip file also contains the product metadata. Note that you must register with SARA before data can be downloaded (see http://www.copernicus.gov.au/). |
