Project Abstract

Advanced Himawari Imager (AHI) data with a cloud mask algorithm. Aerosol optical depth (AOD) data were analysed to derive pixel-wise aerosol properties (cloud, smoke, dust, fog, absorptive) over a 2 km grid covering Australia (Qin et al., 2015; Qin et al. 2018 - submitted). The AOD fields were derived in 10-minute increments spanning each study timeframe.
