The Public Health Intelligence Branch (PHI), Queensland Health collects and maintains datasets that are relevant to its function of surveillance, prevention, and control of communicable diseases in Queensland. Notifiable conditions data are publicly available in the weekly communicable diseases surveillance reports that allow users to view weekly and annual totals by disease for the whole of Queensland, or at a Public Health Unit or Hospital & Health Service level. Individuals or organisations requiring historical and/or more detailed data will usually need to apply for permission to obtain them.
